Charles
Evangelakos
Since becoming a member of the Bank's Board
of Directors in 1997, Mr. Evangelakos has become very active in
the Bank's affairs. He has served as Chairman of the Bank's Audit
Committee which seeks to ensure that the internal controls and
managerial policies are not compromised. He also serves as Chairman
of the Bank's Benefits and Compensation Committee.
Mr. Evangelakos is a Senior Vice President for Sagemark Consulting
where he provides financial, tax, and estate planning for individual
and corporate clients. Mr. Evangelakos has three children - including
twin toddlers (a boy and a girl) - and lives in Brookline with
his wife Margaret.

George
P. Demeter
One of the original founders of the Bank, Mr.
Demeter owns a number of commercial properties in Boston, particularly
in the Back Bay. Through a number of professional real estate
entities, Mr. Demeter manages a portfolio of residential housing
units. Mr. Demeter serves as the Chairman of the Board of Mercantile
Capital Corp. - the holding company for the Bank. Mr. Demeter
lives in Boston with his wife, Catherine who serves as the Vice
Consul of the Greek Consulate General in Boston. He is married
and the father of three children. Mr. Demeter is actively involved
in a number of charitable organizations including the Alpha-Omega
Society and Hellenic College.

Steven
T.Ladoulis, Esquire
Mr. Ladoulis has been a member of the Board
of Directors since its inception in 1988. In prior years, he has
also assumed several managerial positions within the Bank - including
interim Senior Lending Officer.
He currently serves on the Bank's Executive Committee. He has
served as Chairman of the Bank's Loan Committee for the past three
years. Now semi-retired from his law practice, Mr. Ladoulis brings
many years of experience to the Board. He is a licensed pilot
and flies recreationally. He currently lives in Chestnut Hill
with his wife Lillian.

Charles
P. Monaghan
President &
CEO
Charley joined the Bank as President
and CEO in 2001. He brings 30 years of banking experience in commercial
lending and bank management, most recently as SVP and CLO of Primary
Bank in New Hampshire. Previously, Charley held management positions
in community and super regional banking organizations in Pennsylvania,
Colorado, and Wisconsin. Charley is active in a number of community
and professional organizations. He and his wife Diane reside in
Boston.

Panos
G. Demeter
Panos Demeter joined the Bank's Board of Directors
in 1996 and since 1997 has served as the Chairman. Panos is very active in the Boston real estate community. Panos and his development team were recently selected to convert the historic District 4
Police station building in the South End neighborhood of Boston into luxury residential units. The building will be designed by world famous Philippe Starck and will also benefit from an enviromentally friendly green roof.
Panos serves on a number of committees for the Board of Directors, including
the Loan Committee, Audit Committee, Social Responsibility Committee and Benefits and Compensation Committee. Panos lives in Boston with his wife Sara, who is a linguistic technology specialist. He is on the board of trustees of the Alpha Omega Council of Boston. He has an undergraduate degree from Babson College and an MBA from Columbia Business School with a concentration in real estate finance.

Randal
Rucker
Mr. Rucker is the newest member of the Bank's
Board of Directors having joined the Bank in March 2003. Since
his having graduated from MIT, Mr. Rucker has been actively and
increasingly involved in community service - most notably in the
health care industry. Mr. Rucker currently serves as the Chief
Executive Officer of Family Services of Greater Boston. Given
his background in community service, Mr. Rucker was very instrumental
in developing the Bank's Social Responsibility Committee. Not
coincidentally, Mr. Rucker currently serves as the Chairman of
that committee. In his spare time, he enjoys hot-air ballooning.
Mr. Rucker lives in Milton.

Charles
Uglietto
Mr. Uglietto joined the Bank's Board of Directors
in 1998. He is the President and CEO of Cubby Oil Co., Inc., a
Somerville-based distributor of home heating fuels.
Mr. Uglietto serves on a number of Committees for the Board of
Directors including but not limited to, Audit Committee and Social
Responsibility Committee.
Mr. Uglietto lives in Belmont with his wife Robin and their three
children. He is actively involved in Belmont Youth Hockey as well
as other community based organizations.
